Hi Michael,
Nice to hear from you. From your blog, it doesn't look like you are at all living vicariously! We are planning on being in St. Louis during the last couple of weeks of October for Carolyn's graduation. Baked ravioli and beer! I will definitely be looking forward to seeing you.

If I read this post correctly, y'all are thinking of heading west again. Must be something in the air, or the water, whatever. I just came back from two weeks paddling on the Great River of the West, the Columbia, and as a result, I have a yearning to "go West, young man, go West." Unfortunately, we are still entangled in the life in the "Lou". So, I'll just do a little vicarious living as you prepare to hitch up the team and ride to the end of the Plains and on up into the glorious mountains.

Still loving to read your blog, view the pictures of your family- lovely bride and ever so quickly growing daughter. Stop back on Moorlands on your way through. I've got a fine collection of brew in the fridge and enough baked raviolis to keep us munching into the evening.
